Let’s get started!

Creating a New Post or Page:

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard. This is usually located at www.yourwebsite.com/wp-admin.
  2. Once you’re logged in, you’ll be on the WordPress admin dashboard. Look for the “Posts” or “Pages” tab in the left-hand menu and click on it.
  3. To create a new post, click on “Add New” under the “Posts” tab. For a new page, click on “Add New” under the “Pages” tab.

Formatting Text (Using Classic Builder – may require a Plugin):

  1. Give your post or page a title by entering it in the designated field at the top.
  2. In the main content area, you can start typing your text. You can format it using the toolbar options above the content area. For example, you can make text bold, italic, or underlined, create bullet or numbered lists, align text, and more.

Adding Images and Videos:

  1. To add an image, click on the “Add Media” button above the content area. You can either upload an image from your computer or choose one from your media library.
  2. To add a video, you can simply paste the video URL from platforms like YouTube or Vimeo directly into the content area.

Creating Links:

  1. Highlight the text you want to turn into a link.
  2. Click on the chain icon in the toolbar above the content area.
  3. Enter the URL you want to link to and click “Apply” or “Insert.”

Using Categories and Tags:

  1. Categories and tags help organize your content and make it easier for visitors to navigate your website.
  2. In the right-hand column, you’ll find the “Categories” and “Tags” meta boxes. You can create new categories or tags by clicking on the respective links.
  3. Assign relevant categories and tags to your post or page by checking the appropriate boxes.

Publishing Your Content:

  1. Once you’re done creating and formatting your content, you can preview it by clicking on the “Preview” button.
  2. If you’re satisfied, click on the “Publish” button to make your post or page live on your website.

Managing Your Content:

  1. To edit an existing post or page, go to the “Posts” or “Pages” tab in the left-hand menu and click on “All Posts” or “All Pages.”
  2. Locate the post or page you want to edit and click on its title. Make the necessary changes and click “Update” to save them.
  3. You can also delete posts or pages by selecting them and clicking on the “Move to Trash” option.
